THE CATERPILLAR AND THE BUTTERFLY

        To show up let us imagine to ourselves, that the personality is a caterpillar, and the Soul is a butterfly. Here is the personality, which has learned about God. It reads a lot, has methods and systems, but in reality the Soul as a state it doesn’t know. And then everything, that it is told about the Soul, she puts on its mental understanding, creates religion, movement and is proud, glad itself. It is the same, as if the caterpillar, having never flied, has learned about the butterfly, would have became proud, has got extra feed and became fatter. Precisely on this is based the black occultism.

        And there are people, who know the states of the caterpillar, and of the butterfly. They have the better condition, they can reject something in themselves, to make sacrifice of something and to orient only on the flight of butterfly. Imagine to yourself, can such the caterpillar be proud and be glad of itself? It needs to strain itself in order to fly! It’s deadly hard, that is why it all dies for the flight and wrenches out, having became the butterfly. But it needs inside itself having done it: to decide to die as the caterpillar in a certain moment. And that one, which is proud, still remains to be caterpillar, but get right also and knowing about the flight! These are the fattiest and the most dangerous caterpillars.

        So, if you have no testimonies of the butterfly’s state, but you only have some lucid intervals of the butterfly’s state, but generally, all these butterfly’s heights come on the feed of the caterpillar, what must you do? You must tell somebody, who is out of the process, whom you trust: “When I’ll become totally 100 per cent caterpillar, split me on pieces!” you give somebody the right – to the Angel, to the Master, to God: “In that case, when I completely identify myself with the caterpillar and I’ll not have any other testimony, except one testimony, which is myself, then take me and split, I humble before You”. It means that here occurs the necessity of absolute listening to somebody, whom you have trusted to, even if in that moment everything in you raises against him. It ‘splits’ you, and then you alive and can again go further.

        It means, on the case, when your Soul is not so strong, that is the butterfly doesn’t fly so high yet, you must have somebody, before whom you have humbled, who will save you.
