This title is the highest spiritual esoteric name. The Virgin is given in two aspects -in cosmic and in earthly, "humanized". The image of Mother is deprived of any mythological colouring. First of all, she is our contemporary. She is beautiful, but this is a sort of inner beauty of altruistic love, ready at any moment to sacrifice everything. The Child Christ is altogether given to her guarding motherhood. She is for Him a support and the source of guarding and saving force.
