An episode is depicted when the Apostles saw Christ walking on the water and got frightened, thinking that it was a spectre. Peter, most resolute of the Disciples, with great emotion, points at the figure of Master walking on the waters in front of them. All stood still, looking foward with deepest attention. This painting conveys the idea of miraculous powers of Jesus Christ, who, under extreme situations, performed the miracles using the powers of Belief and Hope.
