Return

Monad has manifestation in Manas, Buddhi, Atma. They are Her three ring systems: throat - sacral centers, heart - vitality and mental - kundalini centers. Thus, Baby Christ sitting on Maria's knees in "Worship of Magi" fragment - is the Christ of Manasic level. The symbol of Manas is a Rock where He's born in the cave to Maria (Third Ray) the Virgin. In this fragment the cave looks like a black space. The three Magi who brought the gifts symbolize the three levels of Spiritual Triad.
The first Magician is a gray-haired aged man symbolizing the completeness of Manasic principal. Kneeling before Baby Christ, his crown is on the ground nearby - the sign of total humility and surrender to Christ. He gives Him up "gold" - the materialized light of Solar Angel. The symbol of Manas.
The second Magician is a middle-aged man symbolizing the aspect of Buddhi. He is not on his knees. He is only half bowed as Buddhic body is half active. He presents "incense" - the symbol of Buddhic plan which is of Air element. The fragrant steam of incense is that what rises into Buddhi when burning in Fire element of mental-manasic level.
The third Magician is a young man in red (the symbol of Atmic plane). Standing straight with slightly bent head. The plane of Atma is one third active. He brought "myrrh" to present to Christ. It seems to be the attar for embalming the deceased. Hierarchy of Atma is governed by Saturn - the symbol of Death. This level will be passed by Jesus at initiation of Crucifixion, when before Maria took a pound weight of pure spikenard of precious myrrh and poured it over Jesus' feet and " wiped His feet with her hair, so that the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume" (Gospel by John, chapter 12)

( L. Reznik "Mystery Revelation")

Christ said, "Where man's treasure is, there will his heart be". The plot of three magi tells us about a very important mystery of transporting a treasure of highest value, consisting of gold, brankincense and myrrh into Christ's life. The wise men are internally reoriented from the life of matter to immortality, to eternity, "to life more plentiful and abundant", as our Saviour put it. A rich young man from a well known episode taken from Gospel, could not do what magi did. That is why the wise men are blessed before God. In the composition of the painting, Jehovah visage occupies a central place: he is the main source of Divinity. Three magi -kinds symbolyung the spiritual Triad (Trinity) enter as the constituent element into a greater organism of Omnipotent Jehovah. Baby Christ - the owner of the Rod of Initiation and Transformation is blessing the kneeling followers of the World Messiah.
